Quiet and dog friendly
Great apartment for young professionals, and dog lovers. The neighbors are nice and friendly and the management is amazing. Management has great communication and never had any issue with any maintenance request.
The off leash dog park behind the building is a plus where you can take your dog to play.

East Lake is nice and walkable and has several good restaurants for how small it is. The big downside is that there is no grocery store right there, so if you don't have a car grocery shopping can be challenging.
Eastlake is a fairly quiet, very residential neighborhood, yet with very easy access to get on and off I-5, get to downtown, capitol hill, or the University District. Some traffic through the neighborhood between South Lake Union and the University District, but not much. There are a few bars and restaurants that are more hidden jems then super popular destinations. Access to the lake, and walking/biking is fairly easy as well.
Close to the Landing and downtown Renton. Neighborhood is full of families and single unit homes, no high rises.
Eastlake is quiet and safe. It's small and primarily residential; it's a great spot for kids and dogs. The downside is that there aren't a ton of shops or restaurants, and there's no grocery store, bookstore, movie theater, etc. However, the restaurants we have are great - Pazzo's Pizza, 14 Carrot Cafe (which has a killer breakfast menu), Mammoth (beer and sandwiches), and Pomodoro are the primary ones I can think of. Eastlake is a super easy commute to school - the 70 picks you up right on Eastlake Avenue, and from Eastlake and Lynn (my stop), it's about 10 minutes to the law school. Eastlake is also right on Lake Union, which is nice - you can sit by the lake and study, or take a walk along the water as a study break.
After three years in Eastlake, I have a new appreciation for neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, and Wallingford, which are bustling and full of things to do. That said, I've been happy in Eastlake. It's an easy place to feel at home in - it's easy to get to know.

Eastlake has a good mix of apartment building and small homes. It's a lot of older couples which means it is quiet and well maintained. Eastlake has some fun bars and is close to every other neighborhood in Seattle
