Great for a law student

I love my apartment because it is perfect for my current law student needs. The building is very modern. The gym, coffee machine, common areas with barbecues, Amazon lockers, and in-apartment washer/dryer are all very convenient. It is also just across the street from two grocery stores, the bus stop to UW and to downtown, and is also now right next door to a Target. The rent is a little high, especially because no utilities are included, but the convenience is worth it.

Great place

Don't really have any complaints about this place. Spacious, GREAT location, and close to grocery stores and buses. I feel very safe and lucky honestly to be living here considering all the movement Ballard has had as a desireable area to live. I just hope it doesn't get too full!

About Ballard

Ballard is known as a hip and trendy neighborhood that sits alongside the Shilshole Bay. The town is famous for its neighborhood pride - “Free Ballard!” bumper stickers are easily spotted. The “Free Ballard” quote stems from the decision back in 1907 for Ballard to be annexed by the city of Seattle...

Getting around Ballard

Ballard Reviews

5 reviews
Very self-contained, it clearly has its own identity and is far enough away from the UW that you don't feel like an undergrad living here. Good restaurants, but a little expensive.
Ballard is a rapidly growing neighborhood (designated one of only a few 'Urban Hub Villages) with tons of shops, restaurants, bars, bakeries, coffee shops and more! There are several grocery stores as well and it serves our one-car family well.
great social scene, plenty of breweries and cute shops
A beautiful and fun part of Seattle, Ballard is its own little world. A reasonable bus ride to campus (~30 mins during rush hour), there are a wide variety of restaurants, parks, and most importantly breweries in the area. Central Ballard is becoming increasingly dense but much of the area still feels like a quiet neighborhood.
Ballard is dope, great restaurants and breweries and a nice neighborhood. A little bit further from campus but easy access with the 44 and the Burke Gilman
