Perfect location, new, and clean

We chose this apartment primarily because of the location, but the apartment building is new with great amenities. I wish the rooms were larger as it is a bit smaller than the other 1 bedroom apartments I've seen in the neighborhood, but it does come with a deck which is not common.

Paying for Quality

Location is great! Quick walk to South Lake Union, quick walk to Belltown, Rent is high but great amenities included. You pay for location and convenience. Tanaka San is great downstairs, and the market is very convenient. Management is extremely friendly too!

Perfect amenities & perfect location + amazing concierge!

I've lived in this building for 3 years now when it wasn't even finished yet. I've loved every day living here. The concierge knows you by your name and they're always helpful. We have a coffeeshop, restaurant and grocery store in bottom. Amenities are A+. All it's missing is a pool!

Great location

Location is the most important aspect for me currently. But overrall the apartment is very clean with great energy. Compared to other apartments in the same price range, Via6 is a gem. Though, I think they can improve the quality of their appliances.

Hip and Modern Building

At the heart of South Lake Union and Belltown. Great location for those who work at Amazon. Besides gym, parking, and convenient location, this place has a great outdoor lounge and community. There are plenty of activities for residents. Downstairs is a popular barber shop and plenty of food options. There is a 24 hour security and concierge service too.

Resident for 3 years

We absolutely loved Via6! Only complaints were the steep raise in rent each year and the horrible parking situation but other than that everything was great. The concierge team is absolutely amazing and makes everything so convenient. Nice quiet building, delicious food/coffee/drinks in lobby, everything super walkable and accessible, lots of different rooms available for rent, including a guest suite (all for a fee). Resident events that are actually fun. All in all, the epitome of downtown living!

Amazing A++ apartments if you get a good deal

* Perfect location, perfect staff, awesome amenities.
(Gym, Lounge, Pool tables, TV Room, Concierge assistance)
* Great floor plans but sometimes the unit you get has not completely recovered from the wear and tear the past owner has left and there are scratches on the wood etc.
* Maintenance is quick and responsive
* The leasing office schedules amazing events for the residents in the lounge
* The only downside of living here is it may be expensive depending on when you rent it and that you cannot go downstairs in your pajamas!!

Downtown Seattle Reviews

8 reviews
Next to Target, Pike Place Market, Belltown restaurants along 2nd Avenue, Benoroya Hall and other cultural venues. Very professional crowd during daytime. Can get quiet at night. Some tourists on weekends. Some homelessness.
Always somewhere great to eat or drink open, and tons of entertainment options. Not so great with a kid, but a wonderful place to live otherwise (or if you don't mind driving to expose your child/pet to greenery). Much better than living in core downtown, since there are so many more entertainment benefits.
In the center of all of the Amazon buildings, so bars/restaurants/Whole Foods are full practically 24/7, but easy walk to the market, the stadiums, and convenient delivery services. I wouldn't recommend living here without a car.
New restaurants are also popping up like Skillet, Marination, Potbelly. Again, close to my work and the bus lines. Very close to Whole Foods too so that's convenient.
Pros: super close to offices if you work downtown. There are a lot of great restaurants in downtown, Belltown within walking distance. Grocery shopping is surprisingly easy with city Target and Kress nearby.

Cons: Lots of homeless people around. While most of them are harmless, occasionally one or two may try to pester you. Stay away from 3rd ave. Also - you are pretty much guaranteed to smell people smoking pot on the street if you walk around here. Some people on 3rd even look like they can sell you some. Well - it's legal, but still, not something I want my baby to get accustomed to...
We live on the outskirt of Belltown so we're a few blocks away from the action. This is a positive for us since it is relatively quiet but we're just a short walk from nightlife. The area is generally safe but I would avoid walking alone at night near Third and Bell.
This building is close to shopping and restaurants/ very safe area / there used to be minimum noise, however, there is construction of a building across the street, which is very noisy at night.
Expensive, but lovely
