Poisoned me
Stonehenge is the public-facing brand of A&E Real Estate. If you want an accurate sense of what tenants face, look at the one-star reviews of A&E—many echo the same issues I and other tenants have lived through.
Leaks and mildew were ignored for months. Instead of hiring licensed plumbers or performing proper mold remediation, management resorted to cosmetic cover-ups. Independent testing later confirmed toxic black mold and hazardous VOCs, including benzene and chloroform, at levels above EPA safety limits.
I vacated under medical directive because the conditions were uninhabitable. The displacement has cost me tens of thousands of dollars in relocation, storage, medical, and replacement expenses.
This is not an isolated case. Over a single holiday weekend, I distributed flyers to 259 fellow tenants. Twenty responded immediately; at least ten reported nearly identical conditions—recurring leaks, mold, and years of neglect. Management applies band-aid fixes instead of real remediation and shows disregard for tenant health and safety.
From my experience and from the voices of many others, Stonehenge and A&E consistently put profit over the well-being of the people living in their buildings.
