Great
It has been a great experience so far. Such a good location with ease of access to many activities and very easy to commute to school. Newly renovated before we moved in so everything was brand new. Management has been very responsive to issues that we have had.

Great Amenities - Terrible Noise
The amenities and facilities, including the pool, clubhouse, and gym, are wonderful and well-kept. The apartments are recently renovated, the kitchen has brand-new appliances, and the overall layout is great. However, the lack of insulation in the apartments is atrocious. Management is aware of this and does nothing to address it. These are older buildings so if you will hear every step your neighbor takes, every cough, every word spoken, every door or drawer shut. I've heard other residents complain of losing heat for weeks at a time and management failing to address it. Personally, my apartment had a cockroach infestation and management sorted it out, but it took roughly three weeks and multiple requests. The closets and kitchen are very small so there is not a lot of storage, but it is manageable. The rooms don't always get much light, I think it depends more on what building you're in.

Good Apartment Complex
Malvern manor is a bit older, but the apartments are in good condition. It was very clean when I moved in. Maintenance is super reliable and I feel safe walking my dog at night.

Malvern Manor
Malvern Manor is a very nice complex in a safe area with plenty of parking. The complex has a great gym and pool. Close to UR and Carytown. The closet/storage space is not great and the building is older so the appliances are also older you are on the top floor you will hear the people above you walking. Management is responsive, and I haven't had any issues. There are dumpsters near every unit and lots of space to walk a dog.

Great Apartment for Richmond Law Students
Malvern Manor has a great central location that makes anywhere you want to go just a short drive away. It is also very close to the school and quite affordable. It is very safe, you need a key fob to get into any building and there is ample parking.
Downsides to the apartment: (1) there are no 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom options, (2) bedroom closet space is limited, and (3) the walls are fairly thin.

Malvern Manor for Law Students
Malvern Manor's location is great, both in terms of getting to school and being close to so much of what Richmond has to offer. The downside is that the complex is old, and this is reflected in the apartments. The kitchens are a bit dated, as is the bathroom, and you can tell the space has seen some wear and tear. Maintenance has been great in fixing our issues, but we have had to call them often for various things in the apartment.

Love it!
My experience here so far has been great. They are super responsive and accommodating. All of the amenities are taken care of and accessible. The leasing office really makes a good attempt to make it feel like a community. My only complaint is that utilities are pretty high. Some units have outdated appliances and the water/sewer bills are divided equally amongst your building, not based on your individual unit.

Great Location and Amenities
I absolutely love living in Malvern Manor. It's conveniently located about 7 or so minutes away from campus which is nice. Additionally, it comes with access to a pool, a gym, and there's tons of free parking so you don't have to ever worry about paying or not having anywhere to park. The building is older so there obviously are some faults, but the maintenance people are very quick to come and check things out and they are very friendly and helpful. The complex also has a variety of events that they host including "food truck Wednesdays." Lastly, when it comes to safety, I feel that I have no issues because each building is locked and requires a key to get into and be able to access the apartments.
