Pretty good

It's in old east Dallas, so it's still 20ish minute walk to West Village. It's a really great building and very cheap compared to everywhere else I looked. Once Covid restrictions loosen, it's a cheap and quick Uber to almost anywhere in Dallas. The leasing office is difficult to deal with, but I would definitely recommend this building to any SMU grad student. They also have a great dog area and very nice dog community in the building.

The apartment complex has 3 dog parks. It's so much more convenient than taking them outside on a leash. The fixtures and appliances in my apartment are nice. Everything is new/updated.

The management is atrocious. I have had cracks in the walls for months that haven’t been fixed. My bathroom door won’t even close and they won’t come fix it. There was dog poop in the hall for a week. The leasing office sent an email about it but didn’t clean it up. It’s sad because the property isn’t bad, but the management is running it into the ground.

Love the apartment. The room itself is spacious and well laid out, the building's amenities are numerous and all quality, the area is convenient. Have nothing bad to say.

This building used to be called Hanover if there is any confusion about the name of this building. I moved in and was the first person to live in my unit as the building was new. It was expensive, especially for being on the "other" side of 75 (i.e. can't walk to bars/ dining places/ shopping) however for the beautiful new unit and staff I felt it was worth it. Although I can't walk to social places, it is really only a 5$ cab ride so I feel that is still pretty good. The gym is small so I just go to LA Fitness which is nearby. I didn't choose this place for the gym anyways. After I renewed my lease I was informed by a random letter in my door that the building was being sold and was now bought by Sentinel group management. I am not impressed with the changes. I now get charged a 4$ "billing fee" for my utilities which I never paid before. They had 4 months where they wouldn't notify me by email that I had a package I just had to guess if I had one. I hope that no more unexpected changes happen. Oh and with all of this my rent still went up. I know that rent tends to increase to compensate for inflation and all, but being that the building is no longer brand new I found that disappointing. Overall- OK place to live. It is still clean and beautiful but nervous about what other bad changes are coming. I probably won't renew my lease with this new management company.
