As a former industrial area, The Nations is a great spot away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas of Downtown Nashville. Despite being further from the action, The Nations is home to plenty of trendy restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. The area has evolved over the past few years, and is attracting young professionals and families alike. Residents rave about the neighborhood's strong community and walkability to various activities.

One of the highlights of The Nations is its excellent dining scene. The neighborhood features a range of local eateries and international cuisine options, including the popular Taco Chela, Maru Sushi, and Nicky's Coal Fired. The nearby Sylvan Park neighborhood also offers a variety of dining options, including local favorites like Park Cafe and Star Bagel.

The area is filled with many single-family homes and townhomes, but there continues to be an increase in apartment buildings as the area becomes more popular for young professionals and graduate students. Its proximity to Tennessee State University makes it an ideal location for students. It is also a good option for both Vanderbilt University and Belmont University students, who would have about a 15 minute drive from either university campus.

12 minute drive to campus, lots of cool coffee shops/bars/restaurants, close to Trader Joes, Kroger, Costco, and more. Great area to be in.

"Up and coming," lots of good restaurants that are super trendy but don't have extremely long lines like the ones on 12 South do. I live with my significant other and younger sister (both VMS). We love having a guest room, a back yard, and covered parking.
