Central Campus is located in the heart of Ann Arbor and conveniently located between Downtown and Main campus. This area provides easy to access stores, restaurants, and other essentials by walking with tons of public transit options nearby. To imagine what a day here looks like, one could pick up a slice at the New York Pizza Depot on the way back from the library or meet up with friends for a weekend brunch at Sava’s restaurant. For nights out Necto Night Club is a block away or for a quieter evening, favorite local bars include HopCat Beer Bar and Scorekeepers Sports Bar.

Pros: 8 minute walk to Ross or downtown. Access into residence halls, suites, and rooms very secure. Maintenance managed by school so never have to shovel snow. Across from the Student Union that has fast food restaurants and Starbucks.

Cons: Have to walk a few blocks to get to real restaurants (like 2-3 blocks).

The main strip of stores/restaurants/etc. is only a 15 minute walk. The football stadium is close. Packard street (runs alongside the building) drops you off on State St which takes you to the highway. Travel is easy. The neighborhood has not felt unsafe to me at any point, though I generally don't travel the area between the areas of 2am and 6am lol so I can't vouch for those times. It seems to be college students and families mostly.

Munger is located in the heart of Ann Arbor, it has excellent location in terms of night life and you are able to get to football games easily (the stadium is visible from the roof!). However, because of this, it is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the medical school (25-30 minutes to the hospital).

In terms of location, Munger is a pretty good comprise between Ross and downtown; I can easily walk everywhere I need to go. Coming from a bigger city it's definitely an adjustment, but I think I ended up with the best location I could have.
