North End

Nicknamed “Boston’s Little Italy”, North End is home to some of Boston’s oldest Italian roots. Before the Revolutionary War, the town was mostly made up of British loyalists. After the war, immigrants of different descents moved into the abandoned town. Historic sites that reside in North End include Old North Church and the 1680 Paul Revere House. Being Boston’s Italian spot, North End is filled with fantastic Italian restaurants, pastry shops, and cafes. There is also a popular city park called the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park, which has gardens, gorgeous views, and numerous play areas. Most of the residents of North End like to do their grocery shopping at the Whole Foods Market just outside of town.

Having heavy ties with the Italian culture, North End is the home of many places with delicious options. For a great dinner out, Regina Pizzeria, Mamma Maria, Neptune Oyster, Limoncello, and Tenoch Mexican are always great bets. For the best in pastries, visit the famous Mike’s Pastry or Modern Pastry. Bars include Porters Bar and Grill, The Bell In Hand Tavern, 21st Amendment, and Battery Park Bar & Patio. North End is a great friendly community with plenty of fantastic eateries and destinations to enjoy.
