Great doorman building - includes a gym, dry cleaning in-building, and laundry room. No brokers fee and rent stabilized! Most apts are recently renovated with brand new appliances (dishwasher!), lots of closet space, and amazing views. Management is nice and receptive. 20 min walk to the law school, or you can take the ACE from port authority or the uptown bus on 10th ave. There's a Food Emporium and CVS less than a block away. It's also a safe area with a lot of great restaurants nearby.

Touristy location but so many people live here. It's almost Hells Kitchen so very cool restaurants. All kinds of food. Good for all budgets. Train subways very close. The management is the best. We also have an amazing rooftop where the view is just wow!

Nice building. Neighborhood is ok, bit far west but it is good value. Park is pretty close and there is lots of restaurants and bars coming up. Apartments are nice and clean. Subway is few blocks away which is convenient. Managing agent is nice and stuff in the building as well.

The apartment building is great and the management is friendly and helpful. However, my unit is close to 9th avenue and is extremely noisy with the ambulance and fire trucks. Depending on the direction your apartment is facing the noise level will differ a lot.

Great apartment building with sun drenched rooms. The staff is very accommodating and the size of the bedrooms are generous. Located near almost everything. The gym is also very convenient and the rooftop has to die for views of the city. Highly recommend.

Great amenities, great value, great sunlight. The staff and management are fantastic.

The apartment is very quiet and the neighbours are really nice. The apartment has a bathroom that is very large (for new york standards) and modern (which is nice).

Convenient location and great view and light

Location is convenient with access to two subway stops nearby and access to restaurants and supermarkets. Great open view with lots of natural sunlight. Building is pet friendly with gym and laundry included. Doormen are friendly and helpful although mail sometimes gets misplaced.

I like the management a lot. Love the rooftop. There are so many awesome restaurants around. Though the place is expensive but I like how close the train stations are and how easy it is to get around the city. The building is new, laundry inside and its great.

Great location and close to restaurants and bars.
Great for pets!
Doormen are really friendly and definitely remember your name.
Management does not like to update and replace things, they cut corners. I just wish they would understand that if you are paying for this apartment, they should at least take care of it.

The apartment is converted from a 2br to a 3br. Management restricts the type of wall that can be used, no ceiling and no physical door. They create a "walk-about" which works for us but may not be for everyone. The location is great for school, you can walk or use transportation: take the M11 bus up 10th ave or the A one stop to 59th st. Overall great building in an extremely convenient location.

Great Value in Great Location

I have lived on a high floor of a (flex) 3 bed, 2 bath for 7 years and have stayed this long because nothing else I ever looked at came close to the quality, size, and location at that price. The original living room is very large (~20'x12'), so it comfortably flexes to another bedroom while still leaving a very reasonable living area.

The floor-to-ceiling windows provide for spectacular views, particularly facing south, since this is the last tall building at this point west for quite some distance. That being said, they also produce a greenhouse effect, so the rooms heat up very quickly, even in winter, so be ready to use AC.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. All of the doormen are incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially if you make even the slightest effort to learn their names and greet them regularly. Any maintenance requests were usually taken care of in less than a day while I was at work (like AC issues, fridge issues, etc), since there is a full-time maintenance staff. They even introduced online rent payment recently, which is a nice plus. They also have a laundry and dry cleaning valet at an incredibly reasonable price. Wash-and-fold is usually done same day while dry-cleaning is two or three days.

The gym is very good (7/10), and even as a regular gym-goer (NYSC), this most certainly was acceptable if I wanted to stay in the building from time to time. Dumbbells up to 50 lbs, a bench, some exercise balls, and several basic, well-maintained machines.

The laundry room is also large and recently renovated with reliable, good equipment. The price per wash and dry is about $2.75 each for the normal-sized machines, which are pretty big. There are huge machines also available.

There isn't a true roof deck on the top, but the fourth floor terrace is great for small outdoor gatherings with friends or tanning during the summer.

The location is perfect since it is far enough away from Times Square to not have too many tourists, but close enough to all of those transit stops to make it a piece of cake to get pretty much anywhere except the UES. Very close to A,C,E,N,Q,R,S,7,1,2,3. There isn't too much on the current block (yet - there is construction on a new hotel going on now - no noise issues as of now), but you're right at the bottom of Hell's Kitchen with all of its great bars and restaurants.

All in all, a great place. Well maintained, responsive staff, great location, good gym and laundry, and all for a reasonable price.
