This apartment is ideally located - one block away from Rittenhouse Square park, close to many restaurants, bars and other classmates. The street is quaint and much quieter than the surrounding bigger streets like Locust and Spruce. The unit itself has a big living room space and modern kitchen. However there are some flaws with the design and structure of the building. 1, not soundproof AT ALL - I can always hear people walking through the halls, all noises within the apartment unit travel to the other sides, and my unit sits next to one of the exits of the building so anytime someone goes in or out you hear them talking (another flaw of the entrances to the building is that the doors are not built to catch right at the end before they close, they only slam shut which is VERY loud). 2, depending on the unit, you either face the interior of the building where you can see into the residences of others across from you, or you face the street. Ours faces the street which is great because it gets a lot of natural light but passersby can sometimes see directly into the unit. 3, other minor issues with the layout of the unit itself — the big bedroom door opens out into the hallway, partially covering the hallway bathroom when it is open. The kitchen cabinets have handles on them that prevent multiple cabinets being open at once without scraping into the adjacent doors.

Great location - poorly designed apartment

2028 Rittenhouse is a hidden gem. There are limited 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom options near Rittenhouse that are reasonably priced and modern so I was really lucky to find 2028. It's a block away from the Square and the majority of the renters in the building are Wharton/UPenn students. It's a fairly small complex, maybe ~10 3 bedroom apartments, so there aren't any fancy building amenities, but the apartments themselves are really nice. The rooms are on the smaller end, but it was still a fantastic deal and a great place to live.

Great location, newly renovated apartments, and solid management. 2028 Rittenhouse was much nicer than the other 3 bedroom options I looked at near Rittenhouse. The majority were really old apartments so I was pleasantly surprised that I could find a modern 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment for close to $4,000.

2028 is in a wonderful location and has great arrangements for roommates. The finishes in the unit are great and the value relative to other options in Rittenhouse Square is great. There are no common amenities (which is as expected). Because the property is new there have been some growing pains, though management has generally been responsive to problems, though they have been somewhat frequent. In addition, the walls are a bit thin and common storage space is minimal, though the closets in the rooms are decent sized. Separately, the front door access system is nice so that you can still receive packages when you're out (it connects to your cell phone).

- Realtors are very unresponsive to requests. Also in responding to requests, they sometimes enter the apartment for maintenance without notice and don't leave a maintenance slip.
- Realtors are still fixing up things in the complex although it was said to be ready by our move in time.
- There are no drawers in the kitchen for utensils and there is no closet space outside of bedrooms
- One bedrooms closes space is cut in half by a random wall.

A great investment opportunity for the developers on your behalf.

It's a new building, so we've had issues associated with that - you're generally "bug" fixes to get everything in order. Overall has been a good experience and in a great location. On the negative side - walls are concrete so the building is somewhat loud.

There aren't many 3 bed, 3 bath options in Rittenhouse, so 2028 Rittenhouse is a bit unique in that sense. The building is brand new, but the construction quality could be better. There were some issues during the first couple of months of the apartment, but it's been pretty smooth since. The location is fantastic - Rittenhouse Square Street is tucked between Spruce and Locust Street and is just a block away from the Park. The surrounding area is quiet and quaint.

Okay Apartment - good location, brand new building, and good value, but the building itself is a work in progress. It looks like most of the kinks have been ironed out at this point, but there were a few issues in the first couple of months.
