Great place to live!

I love my apartment and all the amenities. The building is well-maintained and the apartments have huge floor-to-ceiling windows for lots of natural light.

Great location and management

The apartment complex is within a short walking distance of UPenn's campus . Management is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The amenities are also very modern.

expensive but very happy/great amenities

I have really enjoyed living here so far. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The team has helped me fix various things in my apartment that are not their obligation (e.g., refilling holes with spackle/painting over when I moved things on my walls, cleaning out vents, clearing out the drains, etc.). Apartments have central air, washer/dryers in unit, dishwashers and microwaves. The roof is gorgeous. I have not used the gym or common areas because of COVID but they look amazing. We also get free workout classes when it's not COVID, and I am very much looking forward to that. My apartment feels clean. I know my packages are safe. I know the building is secure. I live a 7 minute walk away from the Penn law school campus.

Overall excellent place to live

Doorman to accept packages/groceries/deliveries. Management is very responsive to any concerns or problems with the apartment(same day responses). Located in the middle of all 3 hospitals - you can walk to all 3 hospitals and clinic in less 15 minutes. Pet friendly with dog walkers that live in the building. Parking available. Not very close to Rittenhouse.

Like it a lot

I like the building a lot, but I have not been crazy about the management or my fellow residents. They are not always the most considerate to their neighbors.

Awesome building

The building is only a couple years old and the apartments are very nice. There's a common floor with a gym, study spaces, and theater room. If you live on one of the higher floors, there are great views. All the apartments have floor to ceiling windows, too, so tons of natural light. It's about a 7 minute walk to school. A shared Uber to Rittenhouse/Center City area is usually about $3.75.

University City Reviews

University City is a bustling college town with plenty of bars, restaurants and nightlife. You don't need to go far to find whatever is you're looking for.
You really only want to be in this neighborhood if you’re a student. It’s generally safe and near to all the student hotspots.
It's nice, lots of undergrads when you get too close to the university, and there isn't always a convenient grocery.
I love Spruce Hill/Clark park area! There’s lots of great places to eat, and it’s close enough to walk to school.
It’s right in the heart of university campus, across from Penn Law, and is wonderfully charming!
I can leave my apartment at 8:52 and still make it to a 9:00 class.
You live in a sea of undergrads. It’s very safe, but sometimes feels like you never leave work, or are surrounded by youths. Not a lot of good affordable takeout places nearby, but reasonable grocery options.
The convenience of CHOP/HUP/PCAM is the only reason this is as high as it is. The neighborhood is not as safe as people believe. There have been multiple robberies and burglaries and a woman was recently assaulted across the street from the building. Philadelphia is a dangerous place and this neighborhood is better than some, but choose somewhere with better security.
