fantastic location and home, a couple difficulties with laundry/HVAC
Pro's:
- great location (5-7 min walk from hospital)
- Reading terminal market 1 minute away.
- Edge of chinatown, so lots of the benefits of having great food/community nearby -> but not in the midst of the bustle of chinatown
- Loft style, great lighting, got all the amenities you need
- neighbors are very private and quiet
- walk in closet
- property management is very responsive
Cons:
- Laundry venting system is a bit silly -> exhaust is into a closed room
- Ceilings are like 20ft tall, its very hard to change the lightbulbs
- HOA fee is ~540/month
- if you are on the 2nd floor, it can be loud at night on weekends (street noise)
- HVAC is expensive to repair (geothermal loop system)
- no grass/trees nearby for dogs (parks are about 10min walk away -> not horrible, but not super convenient)

Great new units
Great new units to live in. Great places to eat nearby. Extremely central location and really good amenities. Love the ability to walk to JFK plaza and public transit is really close. The downside is the traffic during rush hour and parking. But being walking distance to the best restaurants makes up for it.

Great location and cool style, but needs love
1027 Arch St lofts are an incredible price for the location - close to Center City, all forms of Philly public transit, accessible to all major universities and lots of great food options (hello, across the street from the Reading Terminal Market!?). Management responds promptly and are very easy to work with; most of them are quite friendly, too! The building itself is a very cool industrial style loft. It was re-done in the mid-to-late 2000's, and wear is begininng to show. Although the janitorial staff keeps everywhere super near, the hallways and elevators could use some aesthetic fix ups.
