Great experience

Have had a great experience here! Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Amazing maintenance staff that helps right away when anything goes wrong. Feels very secure. Had small common balcony, nice gym, large lobby, and business center. Frequent social events organized. Close to TJUH. Storage is sometimes lacking and some apartments have poor sunlight.

The franklin review

I love living at the Franklin, they had a great deal on rent before COVID so i was able to get my apartment at a reduced cost. The apartment is spacious, with thick walls and I dont hear much from the street. Ive frequently exercised on my Peloton with high volumes and TV as well and have never gotten complaints. I also cannot hear my neighbors.
My apartment is not an upgraded one however, so I feel my appliances/ kitchen could be improved. The upgraded apts cost more money, but have better appliances/ and are a bit better designed (more open concept, better ventilation)

I <3 the Franklin

I absolutely love living at the Franklin. It's a little pricey, but a lot of 2 bedroom units in the area are similarly priced and don't come with the same amenities the Franklin offers. I love having a 24/7 doorman, package service, beautiful gym, restaurant, ballroom and coffee shop all under my roof. The staff goes out of their way to make their residents happy, including monthly happy hours, Friday pretzels and the annual Christmas party. The lobby is so beautiful and I feel so happy living there.

Excellent residence

I've lived here for all 3 years of residency. It is on the pricier side, but you get your money's worth with the available amenities/gym and the quick response by maintenance.

Good living w all the amenities.

Although my rent is on the higher side, my apartment includes w/d, dw, plenty of space w large windows and lots of light, excellent and fast maintenance at no charge, and a very close location to the hospital where I work. If I had to pick again, I would most likely Live here again.

Living at the Ben

I stayed here as a fellow and continued as an attending physician. Very close to everything you need, and the di brunos is a welcome addition. Lobby was renovated few years ago and now has a nice bar with nightly music. Perfect for doctors working at Jeff

Great Location, great security and managment

The apartment is well managed. There are people at the front desk all the time and are always ready to help with whatever need. The location is great, near subways, bus stations, parks, restaurants, hospitals, stores, etc. Great community, friendly people, great for families especially with kids.

Enjoyed every day!

I have enjoyed every day living at The Franklin so far. The employees in the building are extremely friendly. Our unit is spacious and in great condition. The gym is a great amenity. I also really enjoy relaxing in the lobby and grabbing a drink after a long day. Very convenient!

Lovely and clean

Overall, renting at The Franklin was a positive experience. The place was very clean and well kept. My unit itself was pretty spacious but didn't have good lighting. I find the location to be very convenient and close shops and many food options. The biggest con is the fact that it is a bit over priced.

I love this neighborhood! It's great for walking around, exploring the brick, tree-lined streets, and picking up a coffee or snack nearby. You are walking distance to dozens of bars and restaurants, including 13th St as well as South St. Within 20 minutes, you can walk to the quiet charming Queen Village neighborhood or the bustling Rittenhouse area and the shopping district. Even though it's close to Center City, you still get a calm, neighborhood feel.
Love South Street! Center City is accessible if you want it, but you're also pretty close to South Philly and the Italian Market.
Amazing neighborhood! Close to Center City and tons of bars and restaurants. A little far from campus - around 40 minute walk.
This is the ideal area to live if you're going to Jefferson. Anywhere in Washington Square West will put you around a 5 minute walk to campus. It's incredibly safe and I love that everyone around you is a Jefferson employee. There's tons of bars and restaurants in the area, all within walking distance.
The building is situated between Pennsylvania Hospital and Jefferson so it is a relatively safe and clean neighborhood. This does mean there are occasional ambulances or helicopters going by, but generally it isn’t too noisy. The subway and grocery stores (Acme or Whole Foods) are about half a mile away, but the walk is pleasant.
Midtown village is a wonderful neighborhood. There are many restaurants, shops, bars, lounges all within walking distance. Public transportation is abundant and always on time, too. People here are generally friendly and the streets don't get too crowded as it does closer to Center City West. Everything you need is in this neighborhood!
I really enjoy this area. It's very close to lots of bars and restaurants, but not noisy at all. I used to live in Rittenhouse which is extremely nice but very loud and I often was kept up at night by cars honking and construction. The area now is extremely quiet at night. It's very safe and I feel fine walking by myself at night. It is close to reading terminal plus the grocery stores on south street. I like the proximity to the park as well!
We love living in this neighborhood! It feels safe to walk in at night alone and we live two blocks from Independence Hall! With the new Fashion District under construction, it can get a little noisy at night with the construction.
