Solid, but with some caveats

Very modern interior, very nice and great that it is furnished. The downsides are that the space is very small, especially in the rooms, and it is a basement unit meaning natural light is very sparse. It is cool that we have our own patio and that each bedroom has their own bathroom (inside of our rooms too), but the space and the natural lighting is probably the worst part.

Could have been great

The apartments have a no-smoking clause but the unit above me chain smoked every night between 11pm-3am. Due to the way the air vents circulate I had cigarette smoke circulating from my bathroom into my room every night and no proof of them smoking (smell alone isn't enough). Finally, I was visiting family when my apartment was robbed. The apartment complex has security footage right outside but the police were told "the cameras don't work". Also for an apartment that's "not as expensive as NY or CA" I can assure you my Irvine, CA apartment was much more spacious for a very similar price point.

Good but pricey for the small size.

Really nice and modern but a little bit pricey for the small size. There is not a lot of kitchen storage and the bedrooms are very small (you will probably only be able to fit a bed + desk). If you are on the bottom floor, you can hear people above you a lot and sometimes have small bugs. The parking lot is more narrow than the standard lot so it can be hard to navigate if you have a big car. The location is great and close to Ohio State's South Campus. The landlords respond quickly to issues and are extremely nice. They provide all furniture (including a TV) but you can have it removed if you want. Each person has their own bathroom which is really nice!

Decent Property, clean and newer, fairly disinterested management

The internet you get with the apartment is slow. The apartment management manages numerous complexes around the city and are not very responsive. They have not fixed the security cameras and dispense with liability for it. You are responsible for electricity. Parking is shotgun style so one or two of your roommates will not be able to access their car when parked.

My review

I really like my apartment. It’s not the biggest, but it’s close to the law school and it’s fairly nice. We were able to lock in rent for three years so that’s nice. The parking lot sucks but that’s not a big deal

The King Apartments Review

The best part of living at the King Apartments is the proximity to campus. It is only a 10 minute walk to Moritz. The rent is a little high, but the area is nice and the premises are fairly clean and new. The rooms are fairly small, but the common living room and kitchen is a decent space and all the roommates has their own bathroom. The management could be slightly more responsive.

King Apartments

The rent is good, although we have been notified that the property is increasing the rent prices soon. Maintenance is responsive to requests within the week usually and has been good for the most part. The biggest plus of this rental is location, we are in walking distance from the College of Medicine, from Kroger, and also in very close proximity to lots of places on High Street.

Great apartment for professional students

We have lived here 3+ years. Management is very responsive. Rooms are spacious and having our own bathrooms has been a life-saver. Only complaint is that the walls are thin and sound travels a lot throughout the apartment. Neighbors can be noisy too.

King

Walking distance from medical campus. Close to the gym and the Short North. Area is quiet and filled with mostly graduate students. Complex has a private parking lot as well. Apartment has option to come fully furnished and has a modern style.
