Makley Place
Makley is a clean and new building that I think is fairly priced. Our closets are large and our corner unit has great light. Free access to the gym is such a plus!

Makley Place
Makley is great because of the proximity to campus and the free gym access (unlike founders with its many hidden fees). I think this year there was a bit of a wait for a parking spot, but parking is also relatively cheap. We also got new management which has been a transition and namely why I didn't rate Makley higher. There is also a lot of construction happening near the back side of the building so it has been a bit noisy and dusty but should be over with soon.

Great place to live
Rated this a 10/10 last year. They recently changed management; new management is not as responsive to issues. Also have had problems with people repeatedly parking in paid parking spots in outdoor deck. There's a gym but it's pretty small and could have better machines.

Great Management and Affordable
Management is fantastic and is always quick to send maintenance on the rare occasions we have an issue. The building is kept up extremely well. This is the only apartment I've lived in where I feel like management actually cares about its renters.

Makley Place 2b2b
I have loved this apartment. Rent is somewhat high, but the units are beautiful and having a gym downstairs is extremely convenient. I have loved living here especially with the balcony.

Makley Place Studio
I love my apartment it has everything I need. I was bummed to learn that I would have to pay extra for parking, since the city of Columbus does not allow residents living at a complex with a parking lot to have city street parking passes (which are very cheap). The problem is that Makley does not have enough outdoor spaces for residents ($75) so I ended up having to pay $150 per month in addition to my rent to park my car. I would just ask about this up front and get your name on the waiting list early for an outdoor space. There was an incidence where someone was breaking into our package room repeatedly but management fixed the locks and this hasn't been a problem since. Otherwise I feel secure/safe.
