Would definitely recommend

I really love this apartment complex!
Value & Amenities: The complex is secure, clean, and has lovely common areas. The parking lot feels very safe and secure. Most apartments have large windows and lots of sunlight. Rent is a little higher than some nearby places but feels well worth it for the safety, amenities, and the new building features. Some of the units have amazing views of a forest and the skyline.
Management: Wonderful! Maintenance is usually very helpful and timely, but management follows up if I am ever unsatisfied with maintenance.
Location & Safety: The area has a reputation of being unsafe but the little street the complex is on feels safe. I was hesitant about living next to a hospital because of sirens but they are not too bothersome. Great location for UC students. The walk to UC law takes around 25 minutes; Kroger is about a 15 minute walk.
Social: There is not a huge social scene but that seems to be because most of the tenants are grad students, young professionals, or young families. The complex is fairly quiet.

Convenient to Campus/Downtown, Pricey

The building is relatively quiet, many international families, is decent at completing repairs, but has a problem with cockroaches and the garage doors not working which is frustrating for how expensive rent is. The package room is often extremely disorganized with all four buildings worth of peoples' packages all strewn about together. the delivery drivers will sometimes drop off packages in the package room but will also sometimes jam them into your mail box, put it out in the open near the gate, get into the building and put it by someone's door, or put it in the AmazonHub, so it can be very difficult to find what you order. The property manager is difficult to communicate with, asking you to sign leases before you are allowed to see the contract or mischarging what had been agreed upon.

Great location and amenities

The apartment complex has a great staff, lots of amenities to make it easy for student living. also having a garage to park is well worth it, and access to a gym is great. Balcony with a view is definitely a plus.

One41 Wellington

I like my apartment! I appreciate having an enclosed parking garage, and the amenities are very nice. It is located right next to a public park, which is convenient for me since I have a dog; however, the park can be a bit noisy. Overall, a good experience. The rent is a bit high but the leasing office is very nice and helpful.

Close to Campus

It is difficult to beat how close to campus this property is. I ride my bike and walk everyday and have never driven to campus (parking on campus can be expensive and a hassle, sometimes not even guaranteed even when you pay for a pass). I walk to OTR on the weekends and take the bus to and from the airport when I'm flying. There's a pool and a gym. It's relatively quiet with a pretty good mix of residents from college students to young adults or families. It is expensive for sure, but housing tends to be expensive no matter where you are, and I really appreciate not having to drive places while living in this location.

DO NOT LIVE HERE

Over the past year, we have had recurrent car break ins and dangerous activity happening IN the garage that people are paying $75-125 to park in. Despite them claiming that this is a luxury apartment, and increasing the rent to $1600+ a month, we are struggling with people breaking into our cars in the "protected" garage, random people who don't live here coming in and using our amenities, smelling weed in every building, and genuinely feeling unsafe in our buildings. The buildings managers refuse to do anything about the terrible things happening in the building, leaving residents having to pay for car repairs and live in generally unsafe conditions. It is wild that they call themselves a luxury apartment when it is everything but that. And of course, they will continue to raise rent prices and prices for the garage without making any adjustments. Do yourself a favor and go live somewhere that's worth the money.

Excellent place to live but pricey.

141 Wellington has excellent apartments for people living alone or with others. The apartments and utilities are well-maintained and only a few years old. The parking lot is underneath the apartment buildings and is completely enclosed. The pool is excellent. The surrounding area is safe and quiet.

Great Location

My fiance and I chose One41 Wellington because it is close to campus. We are able to walk to campus, walk to football games, and are within walking distance to Kroger. The apartment complex is very secure, has a gym attached, has an outdoor pool, and grills between the buildings. Our apartment has all the amenities that we wanted including a disposal, a washing machine, a drying machine, and a dishwasher.

Decent but not worth the money

Management has not handled safety issues very well. There is also much less security than what they advertise. Overall, it is a good property, but would be much better if it had additional security. Additionally, it used to be mostly just grad students and recent management has let college students move that have trashed the place and been loud. If this and security concerns were better handled, I would give the complex an 8 or 9 out of 10.
