VERY Pleasant Experience
Very affordable housing located on Notre Dame's campus. This year has totally eliminated past programing that Fischer normally has, but overall my experiences living here have been positive. There is no sense of community present, nor do I know my neighbors, but that is not an issue to me at all. Everyone is busy with their studies. The apartment complex is always quiet. Only downside is sharing the laundry room located in the Community Center.

Can't Get any Closer to Campus
I am very happy with my choice in apartments and I cannot imagine having been able to experience and utilize so many of the activities, events, and resources on campus without being someplace so close. Within ten to 15 minutes I can walk to class, study in the library, grab food or visit health services. I live alone with an empty second bedroom. Most apartments are two bed of slightly different size for single adults without families. Apartments are decently spacious with furniture included in all rooms which include living room, breakfast/dining room, bathroom, half bath, two bedrooms, and kitchen. Large closets in both bedrooms, in the hall, and breakfast room give more than enough space for all storage needs combined with cabinets in kitchen and bookshelf in living room. I love how easy it is to walk anywhere on campus (20 minutes for across campus) and the mall and most any shopping or grocery options you can imagine are within a 5 to 10 minute drive. Plenty of parking directly in front of your apartment building (do have to pay the one time Notre Dame parking fee for parking on campus). A small exercise gym is offered in the basement of the community center, as well as a swipe access parcel room, and a game and social room with TV and DVD library that is open 24/7. A chapel with weekly services is also connected to the community building with management company staff on hand during normal work hours. The big downsides are the lack of social activities (partly due to pandemic), the lack of a dishwasher in the apartment, and the laundry facilities being in the community center basement instead of located for personal and convenient use in the apartments. Maintenance is on call for emergencies 24/7 though which is very helpful. Pay is by the bedroom so you never have to worry about subleasing but you also don't necessarily get to have final say on your roommate. Bedroom doors also do not lock by key.

Very Average
It is an older, not as renovated residence. Communal laundry. However, utilities are included, which is nice

Location beats luxury
Decently sized apartments with basic amenities provided. You're always connected to university wifi. These apartments are nothing too fancy but the location on the edge of the campus is ideal.
