Great, but feels like a lot of hidden fees
We moved in early to negotiate a lower lease cost/month and to allow my partner to start working. There is a 50 dollar fee every month that you do not pay your rent direct from your account. Electricity (through dominion electric) has a $240 deposit. While the deposit is refundable, it feels like the bill is exceptionally high each month (70-100/ person). The security deposit was one months rent without water ($1790).
I don't mean to be overly critical. The apartment is clean, lots of dogs, nice little dog park. There is a pool and a small gym (think one smith machine, a treadmill, and some free weights). They also have free parking and first-come first-served covered parking. I just wish those costs would have been made clear at the outset of signing.
Security gate is left open to "encourage new clients" which largely defeats the purpose of having a security gate.
