Mozart Pennsylvania Building in North Oakland
Overall, I really like my apartment. It’s spacious, sunny, and a nice layout for two people. What I love most is that the 10A Pitt shuttle that goes straight to the medical school literally comes to my doorstep. The Med school is only a 15 min walk but a 5 min bus ride, which is amazing. The location really couldn’t be much better. I also think North Oakland is a lot nicer and quieter than Oakland or South Oakland but still has walkable restaurants and isn’t as far from the Med school as Shadyside. The building is a bit older so it’s not ideal if you wanted brand new kitchens/bathrooms with stainless steel appliances. But if you can live with some character then it’s nice, fairly inexpensive, an awesome location, and I think the management company is overall pretty responsive.

It’s Fine
Mozart Management is kind of annoying, and does quarterly cleaning checks in your apartment. However, maintenance folks were usually available to fix things in a reasonable timeframe. The apartments themselves are rather old and not updated, but they do have dishwashers ample space, and a lot of storage space for the price. Also - garage parking!! Location is convenient to Pitt Shuttle, and several bus lines, and is 15 min walk to Scaife.

Good apartments, spacious, but old
I enjoyed living here enough to renew my lease for a second year! The management company is very responsive and comes right away for maintenance issues. The building is in a great location, close to Pitt Med, close to grocery stores and restaurants. It's a very spacious apartment, which I love. It's just a bit old/run-down, but anything that needs to be fixed, they fix right away.
