The apartment is super nice and clean, maintained well, and you can't beat location.

Great price for the location but management can be difficult to deal with
It is very convenient to live so close to campus and the price is comparable if you have a roommate to other apartments that are farther away. However there is no in unit laundry, the whole complex shares a few machines but I have not run into the problem of machines not being available.

Good location
Overall the apartment has been pretty good. It's super close to the school, pet friendly and for the most part has just been solid overall. The issues are primarily no in unit laundry, how much they charge to use laundry machines (2.50$ a load) and the primary management being rude at times.

great location, meh management
Super close to school and location truly cannot be beat for that reason, but the rumors about JFA are true and they are rude!! The apartment itself is well managed and the amenities are nice. Laundry is annoying as it's a rechargeable laundry card, but the machine to recharge it only takes cash.

Great… but not Amazing
The apartment is big and has nice appliances. The price for a 1 bedroom with out the inclusion of utilities is a bit extreme.

Location
The benefit of the flats for me was the location. I can walk to school. The downside is it’s very expensive and the rent really only covers the apartment itself.

The Flats at 520
I really like living here. It is extremely close to the North Haven Campus. Pricing is decent and the apartments are very nice. Have never had an issue with maintenance or neighbors. Feels very safe and is well lit.

Good Apartment, Close to School
Living at The Flats has been very convenient as it is close to school. It is a simple, but new apartment with nice features including a walk-in closet and deck. The gym is an added perk, but the laundry room is borderline unacceptable as it is quite expensive, your clothes don’t get clean nor do they dry. That’s the only downside to living in The Flats. It is a fairly quiet apartment good for studying and for solo-living.
