Steeplechase

If you have a dog this is probably the best location in town. Apartments are nice, neighbors are good, and the amenities are great. Steeplechase is great as long as you are fine with being removed from town. Only a 15 minute bus ride to the law school but bus only comes once an hour.

Steeplechase offers apartments with plenty of space in a quiet part of town. However, the location is very accessible to downtown Bloomington and IU via bus, uber, or a short drive. The maintenance staff is very responsive and fixes any issues quickly.

This is my second year at Steeplechase and I love it. The apartment has great amenities (washer/dryer in unit, every unit has a balcony/patio, pool, dog park, walking paths, nature, gym, package room, club house, community events, free parking).

Steeplechase is a great place to live if you are looking for ample space at a good price. It is on a quieter side of town which is great to come home to at the end of the day to relax. There is a direct bus line to downtown and cheap ubers whenever needed to go socialize. Highly recommended!

Steeplechase is the most beautiful place to live in Bloomington. The rent is fair, management and maintenance are responsive and helpful, and the dog friendly nature of the apartment is great.

Excellent apartment. Cost can be high, but well worth it if you value space, peace and quiet, and that “modern” feel that comes with the recent renovations. Also, office staff are phenomenal and if you were to ever have an issue it will be resolved.

Pros:
- Have my own garage and a little back porch

Cons:
- Garage ceiling collapsed and flooded due to maintenance mistake upstairs that management wouldn't apologize for; would only apologize that I felt that way
- Too far from campus
- Gigantic spiders keep getting inside somehow
- Bathtub has been intentionally deactivated by management so only the shower head works
- Ceilings are thin and I can hear every step that my upstairs neighbors take

Apartment to school is roughly a 15 minute drive. Nearly everything was broken when I moved in to include the ice maker, dryer, toilet, etc. They are reasonably quick to fix issues. Whenever it rains or is damp outside my place smells like a wet dog and I don't have a dog.

Living at steeplechase has been great! The local bus service picks us right outside our door and takes us to campus in a manner of 15 minutes.

This apartment complex has so many different options for everyone's budget. I have nothing but great things to say about this property. Steeplechase also gives a monthly discount for being a graduate student. It is about 10 minutes from the law school, but the bus picks up right at the clubhouse which is only a 30-second walk from my apartment. I highly highly recommend this leasing company; I have not had one issue with them thus far.
