The Citizen

I lived here for 2 years. The location was the best part of living here. It is close to grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and the campus. Some other students lived here too. Management appears responsive but in reality, it isn't always reliable. I loved my unit, but did have loud neighbors, even though the walls were cement. I don't not reccomend it, but there may be better options.

Love the apartment! Have had a great and safe experience. Feels clean and staff is great. location is convenient around everything and close to school. Only downsides: living on the side facing Union ave is noisy, and occasionally have tiny flies but staff will send pest control to help. Elevator on newer side is often down, but there is one further down the hall that typically has no issues and is accessible.

I love my apartment complex! The management is pretty responsive for a big company and the amenities are really great. My half of the building is on McClean Ave, and it is pretty quiet (but I know some residents on the Union side complain of the fire station being loud). I like my neighbors and I personally think I live in the best neighborhood in Memphis. There is so much to do and all my necessities are truly in a 5 min radius. I am also only 7 min from school.

On days with awful weather, I dont need to leave! I have my gym, coffee maker, study spaces all here at the complex.

I have loved living in the Citizen so far. All of my apartment amenities are new and upgraded, and they also have large floor length windows in the apartments, which is nice for natural light when having to study all day. I also love how it’s only about a 6 minute drive to school and an easy drive, straight down Union Avenue. It makes commuting very simple and more encouraging to go to campus daily. I would say the management here is the best part. They are so kind and caring and will always go out of their way to address any concerns. We also have nice amenities, and the building feels safe because it is locked at all times and need key fob for entry. They have free parking which is great, or you can pay a little bit more monthly for the gated parking garage. The only downsides have been a couple of false fire alarms at inconvenient times, and it might be a little bit pricier than other apartments in the area.

Nice place, relatively clean and quiet minus the fire station right next door. Extremely expensive.

I love my home. It is very clean and quiet and safe. I only wish they would clean up the garage more sometimes!

I love it here! The building is well kept and parking in a garage is such a luxury in Memphis.!

The apartment is safe and serene. Management is awesome with addressing issues. The rooms are furnished with great stainless steal appliances.
