Cypress Lake Apartments

Management is very nice, and you get included valet trash. Internet and electricity is NOT included. I love the floor plan for my 1 bed 1 bath apartment, but make sure you ask management about the people living around you because some are disruptive. It is somewhat far from school (18-20 minute drive without traffic, almost 30 minutes with traffic) but I like the area plus lots of grocery stores and retail in the area! Gated community, but the gate gets hit pretty frequently, they’re usually quick with fixing it. Mainly families/couples that live around me. I haven’t had any safety issues since living here, plus every apartment comes with an alarm system.

This apartment complex is really nice. The front office staff is friendly and there are office hours on Saturday, which makes it convenient when trying to pay rent. They also allow rent to be paid online. If you input a maintenance ticket, the staff is responsive and friendly. There is a gym included and two swimming pools. There is also a really nice lake with sidewalks around it for walking. In addition, there is a children's playground, a tennis court, and some outdoor grilling equipment. The rent can be a little pricey, as water and electricity are not included. But the apartments are clean and nice, and they have giant spa like bathtubs that are amazing. They are also pet friendly, as a small dog park is also included in the rent. Although, there is a pet fee and a small pet rent to pay. The location is also right off of Siegen and across from the TopGolf, so there are plenty of fast food restaurants and shops nearby. The Mall of Louisiana is less then 5 minutes away. It also located next to I-10, which takes you to New Orleans and connects you to other parts of town. Despite being close to the highway, it is far enough away that it feels secluded and you don't hear traffic.
