Deer Valley Apartments

Pretty much everyone in the law school lives here. It's a great price, the rooms are spacious, and there is tons of storage on the property. The apartment is close to most of the fast-food places and grocery stores (you could totally walk), and it's close to a bunch of coffee places I love to walk to on the weekends. It's only a 7-10min drive to campus/law school (depending on traffic). Great place for grad students to rent. The only issue I have is that some of the appliances are dated which requires maintenance from time to time.

The people managing this apartment complex care about the people living there. They tell you they want you to feel at home and certainly succeed as they are easy to reach out to.

When my air conditioning went out, I received service within a day and had the issue fixed before the evening was over.

The people living in the complex are friendly and usually graduate/professional students at Mizzou. It's quiet on the weekends (aside from the occasional person coming up the stairs around midnight) and is a great environment to study if you want to get out of the library.

Good for a Quiet Experience

Not too far from campus and there is a lot of space in the one bedrooms. Everyone is also very friendly. Parking is great and so is the pool.

I have really enjoyed living here at Deer Valley. The complex is very close to Walmart and lots of food options. It takes me about 15-20 minutes total to drive from my apartment to Hitt parking garage and walk to Hulston. The apartments are spacious and clean, and the complex is very quiet. My only complaints are (1) that I struggle with pests during the spring/summer since my unit is on the ground floor and faces the woods and (2) sometimes maintenance takes a while to fix things - but these haven't been a big deal!

Great location and amenities, but some issues with maintenance - pests, hot water, plumbing. I also like that there is an age limit of 22 to live here.

Relatively quiet area, access to lots of restaurants and grocery stores, close proximity to the Law School.

I lived at Deer Valley last year and decided to renew my lease for this year. The location is unbeatable in my opinion. While the complex is secluded, it is close to many restaurants and coffee shops, gas stations, Wal-Mart, HyVee, and Aldi. It is the perfect amount of space and storage for my needs and the management is wonderful.

The apartments are nice for the low price. Management is helpful when any minor issues arise.

Deer Valley has been a great apartment complex. Management has been overall friendly, the units seem to be in great condition for the most part, and more than anything it is very quiet and neighbors are respectful.
