Walnut Capitol Apartments
Though old, my apartment is well kept! Management is excellent (Walnut Capitol). Only complaint is that we had mice one winter, but were able to get rid of them eventually.

Great Maintenance Response
The neighborhood is at a nice corner with a few other Walnut Capital Residential properties. It's a 2 minute walk from Walnut, and a short 5 min walk from busses that take you to Oakland, Downtown, Children's Hospital, and the airport. Market District is a short 10 min walk as well. Location wise: excellent. The neighborhood is very safe, our packages are never stolen and I never fear walking alone at night.
The units are a bit small, and overpriced for the space offered. However, there is central air which is a lifesaver during the summer months. The apartments are old but renovated. Not entirely modern, but pretty nice to live in.
We have had some issues but maintenance has been quick to respond to our concerns. However, other units have had no problems with their apartments, so it just may be our unit. Lots of medical students nearby too, so the commute is never lonely.

Older apartment with great management
Our apartment is old, so it’s got some kinks, but the management has been fantastic. They respond to almost every maintenance request within a day!
