It's good but expensive
I love living a little farther from campus to remove myself from campus - however commuting here can be unreliable (taking the 57 or green line). Walking to the 57 takes about 10 minutes, and to the green line it is 15-20. However, Brighton is a great community to live in - local parks, small businesses and restaurants, live next door to a CVS, Dunkin Donuts, and pizza shop. If you are into running, it is not from the river trails and from chestnut hill reservoir! There is only one parking space included. It is pet friendly, but I have not seen any large dogs. The amenities are new-ish (building built in 2018ish) and it is a safe apartment to live in (especially as two women who live here together!). The gym is the size of a large closet but works for a quick or small workout. There is not a lot of storage space in the apartment. My landlord is responsive - but each

Saybrook
Building is clean and well-kept with access to a workout room. Apartment has plenty of room and an in-unit washer & dryer. Units are individually owned and rented (technically condos), and our landlord has been great. Area is safe and quiet. Not super close to a T stop so the 57 bus is usually the better transportation option
