Great rent, terrible bugs

Constant onslaught of bugs. Cockroaches, millipedes, gnats, beetles. I have never lived in a place that can be so clean yet so exhausting with having to keep out pests. This is exacerbated by the lack of a garbage disposal, which causes food scraps to ferment in the sink and create food for bugs attracted to water.
Further, the apartment is very poorly ventilated. A/C is manually controlled, but is only put out by one console in the living room. The bathroom vent is so weak it is basically useless, encouraging the growth of mold.

Great experience living at Copeley

Copeley is quiet, and university-owned, so paying rent is easy. Additionally, it is much more affordable than other properties in the area. It is furnished, which is really convenient. Maintenance is quick because it is university property, so they have to keep things up to code. It is a 5 minute walk to the law school. Truly a great place to live. Only thing is there is no central AC, just a wall unit in the living room, and the heaters are controlled at the university level, so you can't turn them on or off.

Great place for the price!

Copeley provides everything you need to live. The location is convenient if you study at the Law School or Darden, the nature is beautiful there and the home is duly equipped.

Solid apartment

The apartment doesn't have any frills, but it has everything I need. Good for people who are low maintenance and aren't looking for anything fancy.

Good Student Housing

Close to everything at North Grounds, low rent, and generally comfortable. The units can vary and are old, but the upkeep is generally good and UVA Housing is responsive to issues. Biggest issues are thin walls and the student housing feel of apartments.

Affordable, Great Value and Close to Law School

The unit is old but well maintained. It is a great value and I am very happy with the location which is just a 3-4 minute walk from the Law School.

At copeley you get what you pay for

It's a fine place to live. Not amazing, but it's student housing. Backs up to the woods which is nice. Close to the law school so can't complain. Huge closet.
