Stockyard Lofts
I love living at Stockyard Lofts. It’s in Old City, so it’s within walking distance of Market Square, Gay St., and Old City strip. A little noisier than it used to be since they built the stadium, and my biggest issue is parking for guests now that the parking lot nearby isn’t free 24/7, and is often taken over for games. Guests don’t have a guaranteed place to park, which can be frustrating if you like to host. Aside from that, great place to live, management is super nice, and maintenance is on top of it.

Expensive but nice
Nice complex, pretty quiet, updated, good location. Super expensive though. Definitely not worth almost $2k for a studio. $125/mo for parking, not required but included in my monthly rent for budgeting purposes. Pool sucks, it's like 3.5 ft deep and super tiny.

Great Place to Live
I've never had any issues living here. The maintenance staff is very responsive, I've never had packages stolen, and I rarely ever hear my neighbors. Most people here own a dog.

Great downtown location!
Stockyard Lofts has been a wonderful way to immerse myself in Knoxville. It’s 8 minutes from the law school, and within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants and things to do downtown. It’s right next to the train tracks and doesn’t have the thickest walls so if noise isn’t your thing, it may not be a great fit. Otherwise, I love Stockyard!

Downtown Living
New luxury apartments (finished early 2022)! Pricey for sqft, but you pay for the location. Walkable to everywhere (35 min walk to UT, 5 min walk to Gay St.). Apartment managers are nice and respond quickly, especially to maintenance requests. I appreciate the locked doors and underground parking.

Bruce Wayne's Penthouse Apartment
Nothing short of top of the line. I am the first person to live in my unit. All appliances are brand new. I live in the master bedroom which has 2 sinks and a closet the size of a minivan. There is a pool that is frequented by beautiful women. Most of the people that live there are late 20s or early 30s. Right behind all of the old city bars for whenever you need a beer after a day of accounting class. Also in the middle of 2 pizza places.

Paying for Location
Living in the old city with secure parking is worth the price

Would recommend
Parking is expensive and low options for taking your dog out. Though, overall I love the location and apartment.
