I love Kingston Pointe

I love Kingston Pointe. Getting to campus in the morning is easy (about a 10-minute drive). It is quiet and tucked away from Kingston Pike, but has great shopping all around. Also, the KAT picks up right outside and is $2 on game day, so it's very easy to get to and from campus.

Good Amenities, Loud Property

Overall Kingston Pointe is a nice apartment complex with plenty of parking, a nice gym, and a pool. The rent is increasing at a high rate in comparison with the "improvements" being made to the property. Additionally, the walls are fairly thin so you can hear a neighbor or their t.v. when they get too loud. Service calls will get done but it's hard to predict how quick the response will be for repairs. It's also mainly carpet except for the kitchen, hallway, and bathroom.

Amazing!

The only downside to this apartment is the popcorn ceiling and water saving toilet. The management and continuous improvements to the property make up for it though. I’m so close to everything Bearden related but we sit so high up on a hill you forget. Management was extremely friendly during covid remote exams and even haulted construction in the apartment below mine during all my exam times. Highly recommend.

Quiet

Good off-campus living option. Within 15 minutes of UTK. The entrance to the complex is off of Kingston Pike, but it's set far enough back and is surrounded by trees that you can't hear the traffic.

Walls are a little thin, but the complex isn't too loud. Nice place to study and good opportunity to create separation between life and school.

Lakeshore Park is less than 5 minutes away and it's closely located to I-40.
