Cheap and in close proximity to SOM. Utilities is all inclusive. Has laundry and gym in basement. There are additional parking and pet fees if that applies to you. Management has been super nice and responsive to any issues!

This is an affordable option in the city close to SLU undergrad campus (great to walk to the SLU gym and Pius library), and a few minutes upstreet from SLU Med Campus and SLUH. No fancy bells and whistles, but it does its job. Good soundproofing in the walls, lots of sunlight with a wall of windows. Older building (so might have some maintenance issues pop up now and then), no in unit laundry (it's in the basement), no dish washer, and the AC/heating gets switched over for winter/spring by the building. You can adjust the temperature to your liking in unit. Location isn't super scenic, lots of city sounds and people out and about, but it is convenient. There is a security guard in the lobby after hours. Parking on the open lot is free, but there is an option for paid covered parking.

I think Midtown 300 is a great place to live if you are someone seeking to live alone. I chose to find a studio apartment for my 1L year because I wanted to ensure that I would always have a quiet place to study. Midtown is also on the more affordable side of things when you take into consideration how much nicer these studios are compared to other locations that are cheaper. Parking is also free and I have never had an issue with finding a spot to park. It is important to note that it is located near SLU's undergrad campus and is about a 5 minute drive from the law school. I enjoy being close to the main campus because I moved here from Wisconsin knowing nobody so I wanted to be positioned in a place where I could make friends both at the Law school and the main campus. Midtown's location has allowed me to do just that. Its also nice only being 2 minutes away from SLU's campus gym but the apartment has a gym itself too.
