Fantastic local landlord
One of the lucky ones who found a standalone house that is owned locally and not by a major property management company. This translates to proper upkeep and reasonable price. Very happy with my accommodations!

Quiet residence w/ backyard
We needed a place that was walkable to the hospital and would let us have a dog. This place was perfect because there is a backyard with a fire pit in a quiet neighborhood (also ideal for dog walks). We love that there are a couple restaurants just a 1 min walk away. The North Campus Rec Center is also <1mi away. The apartment is cozy with lots of sun. This house is old, so there are some maintenance issues that sometimes arise with that, but the walls are thick and the landlord is very kind and will compensate us for issues. Also comes with free parking and washer/dryer! Renting from local landlords over a management company can be hit or miss, but we have definitely had a great experience!
