Phi Rho Sigma

Phi Rho Sigma is the only housed medical student society (formerly fraternity) on campus. The house holds 26 students. Bathrooms are shared. We have a chef that makes lunch and dinner Monday-Friday. We have a parking lot with 16 spaces, plus 9 street permits so everyone who wants to park almost always has a space. We have students who are M1-M4 plus dual degrees/MSTPs. We have a treadmill, stationary bike, squat rack, bench press, and some free weights in the basement. We have laundry machines (one washer and one dryer -- surprisingly usually isn't too backed up). We are approximately a 6 minute walk from the medical school. We are also a social space in that we host lots of medical school events and parties throughout the year. It's the best!

I absolutely adore living here! It isn't for everyone, as there isn't a lot of privacy (all public spaces are shared, we have shared bathrooms), but the community is wonder

Phi Rho is a great place for a single medical student to live with other medical students and create a community. It's also one of the cheapest places around and has food provided by in house chef Monday-Friday.

Phi Rho Sigma is a historical landmark of Ann Arbor that also houses 26 medical students from all years of their education. The house is a five minute walk from the medical school. Lunch and dinner are cooked by the house chef on weekdays. We have laundry machines, a treadmill, and weights in the basement. Wifi and cable are included in rent. We also have parking for residents in the back and on the street. It's ridiculously affordable and also a good community to make friends during graduate school.

Phi Rho Sigma is a co-ed medical society. Just down the street from the medical center is the historic English Tudor house we call home. Twenty-six women and men from all four medical school classes live, eat, and study together here in an environment that supports the difficult lifestyle of medical students.
