Good Apartment with Some Issues
Overall, my experience at Gatehouse on the Green in Plantation FL has been positive but I am not likely to renew. Although the management is inviting and welcoming, the actual community and people are not the nicest. With some of my neighbors being the exception, many of the residents of the community are rude and have a tendency to disobey every single traffic law while in the community. They speed around every corner and do not know what a stop sign is. In addition, the issues with individuals sneaking in the gate and going in the community from the exit leave much to be desired.
In regards to the actual apartment, I do not have many complaints besides the pests and maintenance problems. Although the maintenance reviews requests quickly, it can be difficult to have issues resolved. Just recently I had an issue with a Nest device that is unable to be charged, and I am still awaiting a replacement device. Besides this, the only other issue is the pests on the ground level apartments. Although FL ground level apartments come with the usual pests, the frequency that we see pest ants and roaches can be a little unnerving. Me and my roommate have spent quite a sum of money to keep the pests out. Besides this, the place is very spacious and has a lot of potential to make it a wonderful home.
