Definitely recommend if you're on a budget!

Village living comes with a lot of perks (ie. free gym, village activities, walking trail, etc.). There is on-call maintenance that will come in a fix pretty much anything in a timely manner. Very convenient. The worst thing about the apartment is that sometimes are there are random maintenance issues but they are usually resolved within a couple of hours.

Great location near school and a really safe area.

It's ok

I recently moved in and it's good. The property is nice. The unit I got is a little older so there's some obvious patch work done on it. Might move to a different porperty when lease is up.

Apartment Review

The apartment is good overall. However, it is a little far away from the bus stop and it is not furnished. That was bad as there were cheaper and furnished options on the shuttle route, however, the real-estate agent did not state them and all the options given were in the village. Overall, the apartment is good and clean

Convenient living!

The location suits me and the apartment was handed to us in perfect condition. The maintenance team is pretty responsive. The walking paths and the area near the Village Lake is perfect for leisure activities.

Good location, great neighborhood

I live in the Village Bend East and have had a great experience. It’s a quick drive to the SMU campus and pretty close to White Rock Lake. I enjoy having a good fitness center on property, a running loop around the ponds, and the Village Den (a great place to hang out and watch football). The staff has been consistently helpful when I’ve needed to get help. I’d recommend it!

Getting around Vickery Meadow

Vickery Meadow Reviews

While the Village feels like an escape from the city, Greenville ave. is right there, giving easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and other kinds of shopping. Dallas proper is only about twenty minutes away by car, and DART is also nearby and easy to use. I have a 5-10 minute commute to campus most days, and if I didn't want to drive, the SMU express has several stops in the Village, making it easy to take (free!) public transportation.
Easy to get around, shop, etc. Good grocery stores and gas stations nearby. Quick access to 75. Mostly chain restaurants but clean and high quality. Easy to get to SMU, North Park.
Most of them are students or someone who works there. They are quiet most of the time except the party time, lol. But I can endure that.
Generally, the neighbourhood has been welcoming to internationals. People are willing to help in any case too.
Neighborhood is excellent here. Buildings are located in proper arrangements.
Pretty safe, patrol cars are in the area, few incidents of crime
It's nice with lots of families and walking space.
I like the neighborhood. It is quiet and pedestrian friendly. It is great if you are a jogger or have a dog! There are sidewalks, a walking/running path, and a dog park across the street and accessible to anyone living in the Village.
I also like that there are three different grocery stores within a two-mile radius and many eateries off Greenville.
