Great Amenities & Security
The Good:
Excellent Security & Patrol: Village patrol service is outstanding and provides a great sense of safety.
Top-Tier Amenities: Well-maintained gym, parks, and a reliable bus shuttle service.
Efficient Services: Garbage management is good, electricity is reliable, and maintenance support is quick and effective.
Friendly Community: The neighborhood is friendly and welcoming.
The Bad:
Costly Food Delivery: Being outside the prime delivery zone makes ordering from Asian/Indian restaurants expensive with high Uber Eats/DoorDash fees.
Water Quality: Tap water is just moderate; a filter or bottled water is needed for better taste.
Overall, a solid community with fantastic amenities and security.

Nice place
The Village is a very friendly place to live, quiet, and affordable for students. It's well connected to SMU and has several restaurants in the surroundings. The management is very responsive, and maintenance is included, even for things like light bulb changes. The amenities are good, and there are plenty of social activities if you like to meet people. In general the area is secure and full of green zones, perfect for walking. It could be better the thermostat, since it does not perfectly work.

Near Campus
Good place, close to campus and has SMU shuttle stops too. Provides good utilities with gym, swimming pool, and a good community (including many SMU students).

better as compared to other village areas
1. Find your apartment near the shuttle bus stop.
2. Go for a lease if you feel comfortable with your apartment partners
3. Try to find an apartment as soon as possible.
4. Don't hurry to book an apartment; you can get a better apartment at a cheaper price if you search properly.

Okay apartment
Lots of roaches in the beginning. Had 5 within the first month of living there. Good location, nice amenities, but outdated apartments. Old interior, cracks in the walls and baseboards. Thin walls. Would rather live in a nicer updated building without pest issues.

Vickery Meadow Reviews
I also like that there are three different grocery stores within a two-mile radius and many eateries off Greenville.
