Wouldn't Rent Again
These apartments are conveniently located and generally cheaper than other units in the area, but the positives end there.
Turn-around on resolving maintenance issues is unacceptable: 1-3 months for tasks such as installing a smoke alarm or fixing leaks. The units have not been verified as up to city code and are generally meh--little natural light, poor airflow, little storage space. Common areas are filthy and more often than not smell like smoke. Laundry facilities are out of order about half of the time. Packages are frequently left in the entryway or sometimes even out on the stoop for anyone to grab as opposed to being delivered to the mailroom. Letters or other mail addressed to this property frequently are returned to sender or just disappear. Security is a concern, as the door to the building is left propped open for anyone to enter about 30% of the time, and someone installed a credit card skimmer on one of the laundry units that was left up for at least a week. Management is slow to react or respond to just about any type of inquiry. Their interactions lack politeness. These apartments are just not worth the money or hassle.
