If You Want To Live Close To School....
I found 50 Rector from another student before I started law school. It serves all of my purposes. The space is big, the building is safe with a 24 hour doorman, amenities are okay. It is a 5 minute walk to school, it gets good sunlight, neighbors are quiet. I will likely live there for my three years of school. The clear downside is the rent. You can live in someplace more fun with more things closer by the same price or less. There is not a "going out" scene in the area or a ton of restaurants. But it works for me with Whole Foods, great coffee shops, and enough lunch/take out spots!
If it fits your budget and want to live walking distance to school, I think it is worth.
