Old City

Great neighborhood and location. It is easily accessible to public transportation (MFL (2nd and market) and bus), good food and bars nearby. You can also walk into center city - 15 minute walk. Pet friendly area with a dog park nearby and green space.

Open Two Level Apartment

This is the first apartment where I really do not feel crowded by the ceilings. There are twenty foot ceilings in the living room with windows from the bedrooms that look out into the main living area. The building is a little older but maintenance is quick to fix any problems. You really can't beat the location only half a block from Market Street restaurants and bars in Old City.

Great place

The location is unbeatable, central to everything, close to public transport, bars/restaurants and east access to major highways. Unit is very spacious with high ceilings and plenty of storage. Reasonably priced for location. Pet friendly. Friendly neighbors

Great loft aparments for a great price

Beautiful loft apartments in an amazing neighborhood. The building does not have a parking lot so I would recommend finding a garage. The management could be better. Maintenance men will let themselves in unannounced even after I sent angry emails.

We love our neighborhood. I think being north of Market street is a most in old city. We are on a quiet cobblestone street away from the noise and rowdiness of market street. We have great artisan shops and restaurants around us and a perfect local coffee shop just outside our door. I love our area and encourage friends who live in Rittenhouse or grad hospital to walk the extra blocks on a nice Saturday to shop local and enjoy this great side of the city.
Old City is a neighborhood where all ages can find something to do and enjoy. It's generally a very safe area with lots of beautiful things to see.
Old City is beautiful and historic. The building is a 10-15 minute walk from the real Old City. This building is more on that industrial border between Old City and NoLib/Fishtown.
Can be a bit tourist-filled at times, but there is always something to do!
We have a great neighborhood with a bunch of things going on.
Living in Old City has been great - it's a really convenient location, close to public transit, and feels much safer than other places in Philadelphia. Lots of greats bars and restaurants nearby. That said, the rent is pretty expensive so it might be a wider idea to purchase rather than rent.
Old City has revitalized like no other: great for couples, singles, young families and working professionals. Endless shopping and dining and safe to boot! I have never loved a neighborhood so much.
Old City is a beautiful and lively neighborhood. Only drawback is lack of a good grocery store and difficulty finding street parking.
