Good bargain, cute vibe, mid maintenance

The Telesai (FKA Sandpiper) apartments are very cost-effective, and because they are an older build, they have cute archways inside the units and are very spacious. They also allow pets. However, maintenance requests are processed slowly, the area is not "the best," and because it is an older build, there are issues associated with that, such as water main leaks. Overall, I enjoy my apartment and its proximity to campus, but it is not the most luxurious experience.

The Sandpiper

My apartment has a lot of charm with its archways and walk-up quadruplex units while still being fitted with new appliances and flooring. Other pros of the apartment are its proximity to the Las Vegas Medical District and downtown Las Vegas. The downsides of the apartment are: non-urgent maintenance requests have a long wait time, the piping is very audible through the walls (you may hear when your neighbor turns on their hot water), and the complex can be noisy. However, for the price these things are easy to live with.
