The current super bullies tenants when they move out, I have text evidence of them saying they will complain to management if I don’t pay him $300-400, claiming he will make it spotless. When my roommate and I wanted to bring in cleaners, he said well they will never do a good job like he does and he will make sure to complain to management about us, even though my roommate and I have both not been in the apartment for a month because we went on to live with our partners given the serious insect issues that other tenants have also brought up. He exaggerates the apartment condition but rhe language he uses is very bullying.

Management also attempts to charge your deposit for things like oh you forget to open the door for the broker etc. overall, would warn against renting here and maybe buying will save u from the bully but i am sure ue will find other ways to extract from you

My apartment is very close to campus (15-20 minute walk) and affordable for NYC near campus with utilities, elevator and new laundry in basement. The location is really amazing for campus and easy access to all subway lines for going around the city. The building is older so the elevator sometimes break, the doorman is only during the day and the building has had insect problems even on higher floors and with a monthly exterminator. You are also close to Times Square so not the most quiet. The building is nothing luxorious but the square foot goes towards bigger rooms and decent value/location for a law student apartment. There is an affordable Crunch gym within a 5 min walk and tons of restuarants and groccery stores.
