Linden Lane Review
My apartment is brand new, so it is very nice for the price and a good price point if you're looking to spend under $1000 / mo. The only drawbacks about my apartment are that it is about a 5-10 minute drive to everything, so nothing is really walkable, and getting to campus is about a 20-minute drive in the mornings with traffic. Parking has never been an issue.
If you like going downtown often, it might be worth it to spend a little extra and live closer, but this is a safe alternative that puts you within a reasonable distance to everything.
There is a lot of road noise.
I have not personally used it, but I believe it is right next to a park-and-ride bus stop for UGA, so if you did need to get to campus without a car, that would be a way.
