Management is unhelpful
The physical space here is nice although slightly overpriced for what you get. Maintenance is quick to respond and typically able to solve most common issues. However, management is entirely incompetent. There is a new property manager every few months. The current manager can barely use an iPhone, let alone coordinate the replacement of a lock or key - I had to threaten to hire an outside service before anything was done for my broken door lock after one week of incessantly requesting that someone fix it. It finally got fixed the day before I left town for 4 days, but when I came back I found that my door had been unlocked by management (I locked it when I left) because they forgot that they had fixed it. The "secure package locker" is a pile of random packages sitting out in the open in front of the mailboxes. On any given day there are dead bugs and dust all over the corners of the gym. It is hardly a "luxury apartment" like it is advertised - you can find other better apartments for the same cost if not cheaper within Midtown.
That being said, there are quite a few amenities included in rent. The only additional cost/s are Ameren which tends to be quite affordable, as well as garage parking if you want it. I park for free outside behind the building and have never had security issues. It is also quite secure and safe.

Able to walk to med campus and hospitals. Cheap for a 2-bedroom. Also have access to a gym and can negotiate parking.

Steelcote
Love my apartment, I like the location being so close to school but others may prefer to be near more bars/restaurants/shops. Management can sometimes be bad responding to emails but generally very responsive over the phone or in-person. Not many amenities

Wouldn’t recommend for price
Poor management and loud environment. Woke up to SWAT raiding my neighbor.
