Great apartment. Only downside is nearby construction that is very loud.

Olympus Midtown

Have had a decent experience at this apartment complex. Maintenance is responsive and it’s a little less than some other places in midtown, but it doesn’t have a pool and near a lot of construction going on.

Large spaces, generally quiet, amenities are not great and could be better (no pool). Neighborhood is quiet and off the party-bus route.

Olympus is Pretty Decent

It's a slightly older building so I've had to put in a couple of maintenance request. It's very spacious and quiet. Only true negative I would say is that I live farther from the garage and there's the two buildings don't connect so it's a little bit of a longer walk compared to other residents who live in the other buildings. This really only effects you when trying to bring in groceries

Fine but expensive

The apartment itself is fine and management is very responsive to maintenance requests, but it is very expensive to live here for what it is. Management increased our rent by 20% last year and I don't see what value I've gained from that considering the amenities are not as good as similarly priced buildings in the area. The gym is okay but the equipment is cheap (and often broken) and there is no pool. Additionally, security is lax and my car was broken into in the garage earlier this year.

Overall, I felt this apartment was a great deal for a grad student previously, but with the increase in rent my roommate and I only stayed because we have one more year left of school and did not want to deal with moving. If I were looking for apartments now I would live further from campus to get something cheaper or more worth the money.

Olympus Midtown Review

Solid place to live. Not overwhelmingly nice in terms of amenities, but great location. I can walk to school and back home from a night out. Property is kept clean and is only four stories so it's pretty quiet and you rarely have to wait for an elevator.

Plusses and Minuses

Cheaper side of rent for Nashville, and the apartment complex attempts to have communal events which are pretty hit or miss. There are a few other law students at Olympus which is pretty cool, and it facilitates some study sessions and hangouts. The landlord is slow to resolve problems after the first week and the water is not great, so definitely bring a water filter. The parking lot is open to guests and easy to navigate.

Olympus Midtown

Nice 15 minute walk from campus. Not many places right around the apartment ( can be slightly sketchy with homeless people on the opposite side of the building). Worth the cheaper price compared to other places!

Olympus Midtown

We've had a great experience so far! It's a bit further away from campus than a lot of other places (~20 minutes walking) but you get way more space for your money here. There's a massive courtyard and common room that have been great for socially-distant hangouts, and the gym here has everything you'll need. The staff have been very easy to work with and any maintenance request we make is usually handled within 24 hours (and most times must sooner than that).

I am on the border of Midtown and Music Row so it feels very safe here, there is not tons of traffic which is nice when walking around and even driving whenever I get out in my car, and there is plenty to do with a bunch of restaurants and bars. There is even an outdoor concert every Monday at one of the bars across the street, so I can open my windows and just listen to live music when doing homework - I love it!
very fun atmosphere. Central to everything and lots of restaurants and shopping near by and very close to school. about a 5 minute drive
Everything is a short drive away (15 minutes or less). There are grocery stores, restaurants and bars in the areas so you aren’t missing out on the social experience. This is a more residential corner of the midtown area so you don’t hear traffic/ambulance noise even though there are freeways and hospitals nearby. Close to Centennial Park and Percy Warner Trails so if you enjoy the outdoors this is a nice area to be in.
Midtown is great if you want to live close to campus. Vibrant bar/restaurant scene and short walk to campus. Said "yes" to all the additional questions around safety, family/pet friendly, etc. but you also have to realize it's very much a party area. Division is very popular and as a result, you always have to watch your surroundings and be aware at all times.
Midtown is situated just next to Vanderbilt with tons of fun bars and restaurants
Lots of bars and food places, easy to walk around, safe, vibrant.
Restaurants nearby, quiet, close to gym. I really like it.
Very close to campus and plenty things around to do
