Greenhouse Apartments

I have been living here for 4 years now. I think it is a WONDERFUL location, however the apartment itself could use some upgrading. The rug in the living room is old and tired. I would love to take it up and have hardwood floors throughout, however we were told this would increase our rent. We have the laundry room right outside our apartment door. Trash shoot is also nearby. There is a pool on the roof, and a small gym near the lobby.
All in all I would definitely recommend this apartment building to people looking to move in the Boston area.

Spacious with a great location

Perfect for my commute to work and the Back Bay amenities. A little outdated in general. More than I'd like to be paying, but that's the greater problem of the Boston rental market. The concierge staff are great and the building is pretty quite, with a surprising mix of young professionals, students and some older residents.

Great location

You simply cannot beat this location. It is right in the heart of Back Bay next to great bars and restaurants. As a NEU student you can't get much closer (except living on campus). The only complaint I have is some of your neighbors are loud and the walls are pretty thin.

Back Bay Reviews

4 reviews
Close to most things in Boston, makes the city very walk-able. However it is expensive and parking is a real pain. Much more central than Fenway and not nearly as crowded as the South End or Beacon Hill
Close to everything including transportation, food, laundry, grocery store, gym-everything
Pros: Walking distance to everything in the city, access to services, public transportation extremely convenient.
Cons: Lack of diversity among residents, financially and racially, high traffic zones, unsafe bike lanes.
Short walk to restaurants, stores and transit. Neighborhood is a mix of families and young professionals with a few college students.
