It has become an awful place to live

Ever since they sold to Waterton, One Plantation has been a nightmare place to live. The costs have gone up and the quality of services have gone down drastically.

We haven't had a working gate for over 6 months, the elevators constantly break (not a surprise since some of them are way passed their inspection date). The expect tenants to be held to their part of the lease while Waterton breaks their obligations without hesitation. The management onsite never follows through on anything they say they are going to do. It is like once you sign a lease, you no longer matter.

Also, if you plan to stay more than a year, know that your renewal fees will be far higher than the prices advertised to new prospective tenants. If you are loyal, been there for 1-2 years, through the sale of property and services being removed (like no security gates), they will not give you a equal or fair market rate. They will gouge you and ask you to pay premium to renew.

Run away from here fast!!!
