Good Price, Long Commute and Bad Management
I live in the Village because my spouse works in West Palm Beach. We live in a nice, 2/2 with stainless steel appliances, 900 square feet. We really like the apartment itself and the layout.
Pros:
- Great rent price
- Near downtown Lake Worth and Lake Worth Beach, lots of things to do on the weekend (5 min drive)
- Close to Tri Rail for commute (less than 5 min drive)
- Close to 95 and Publix/Target/Grocery (5-7 mins drive)
- Easy access to Palm Beach County internships (with lower competition from Miami/Ft. Lauderdale)
- Nice park across the street for walking/running during the day
Cons:
- Poor management company, not responsive, office not open often, currently no online portal to pay (management said should be fixed soon)
- Neighborhood is not great, not really unsafe but need to be careful/street smart
- Far from school, driving commute 1 hr to 1.5 hr, but its very easy/convenient to take the Tri Rail to school and the commute takes about 1.5 hrs.
