Nice, but pricy
Pros:
Units are relatively large, maintenance people and doormen are responsive, efficient, and kind. Updated appliances, very clean building. Amenities are great (gym, study space, kids room, and beautiful roof overlooking downtown manhattan and the Hudson river.) Friendly neighbors and an Amazon hub in the building. Easy walk to Fordham--only takes about 10-15 minutes. Building also has a shuttle that runs to Columbus Circle that is clean, timely, and efficient.
Cons:
Very expensive, relatively far from the subway (but the bus system and shuttle help make up for it). Can be a little noisy if you're on a lower floor or on the street side, since it's located at an intersection, but very quiet above the 10th floor or facing the other way. Also not a great bar or restaurant scene immediately close, but getting to the upper west side or downtown is very easy. Previously had a couple of issues with the AC, but they were all replaced this summer so that shouldn't be an issue anymore (and maintenance was really timely fixing it every time.)

Expensive, but worth it for 1L to be so close to the law school.

Hell's Kitchen Reviews
* Easily accessible from a majority of transit hubs.
* Tremendous investment on the part of private and public entities, so there's a lot of development and renewarl.
* Proximity to Javits Center, Penn Station, and Time Square make it heavily policed and quite safe.
CONS
* NOISE--from the Lincoln Tunnel, the Javits, the River, the tourists, but above all else the construction
* Proximity to Javits Center, Penn Station, and Time Square can suck the character out of the location. Don't move here if you're looking to easily find a neighborhood with it's own personality (your local coffee place is going to be Starbucks and your local Italian place is going to be a hike if you want anything other than Sbarro/Olive Garden).
Transportation, particularly up and down the West Side and to FiDi is incredibly easy, and if you live near 42nd St, almost every area is a snap to get to.
Con: Can be loud and tourist heavy during certain hours.
