Nice Building, lovely Staff, TERRIBLE Management

27 on 27th was a great building. The apartments are relatively spacious, the finishes high end, the amenities top notch and the views spectacular, but the whole place is ruined by the management company. Heatherwood rarely take care of repairs on time (one elevator was out for SIX WEEKS), send lengthy lease amendments with no warning and regularly fire much loved doorstaff without letting the tenants know.

The area is great and the building very social, so if you want to live near midtown and get to know your neighbors it's a great place to live.

3 minutes walk access to 7 subway lines (N Q 7 7x E M R).6 minutes drive to 495 highway. Million dollar view of Manhattan. Pet friendly. 24 hr access to the Gym. The rent is bit more than the average, but worth the price. You can get to literally greater New York City areas from here. Also, extra points for free street parking.

Interesting neighborhood - lots of new construction and new bars and restaurants spring up all the time. Could use more food shopping options and a drug store though.

Transport links are second to none, you can be in Midtown in less than 10 minutes and it's easy to get to just about every part of Manhattan.
The building is in an excellent area. Right on the water, easy walk to multiple bars and restaurants. It is also a five minute walk to the 7 subway line.
Very safe and clean, many luxury buildings with young professionals and young families. Great views of Manhattan. Very residential - not many fast casual spots or stores, but there are good restaurants.
Quiet and calm place: meaning peaceful days, but just a few restaurants and placed to go nearby.
It's close to everything! There is always something to do.
Awesome restaurants, parks, views, commute.
