Great amenities, easy access to Manhattan

I have lived at LINC for about a year now. It is located close to subway stations in Long Island City, which is just 2 stops away from Manhattan. It has great amenities: indoor lounge, pool table, 24-hr gym, squash court, basketball court, and indoor theatre room.

Hunters Point Reviews

The neighborhood is young and up and coming. With plenty of new real estate going up both commercial and residential! A couple corporate offices in the area so a lot of young working professionals in the area as well. Great restaurant and a super easy commute
Pros: beautiful waterfront, very safe neighborhood, very quiet - you feel like you're completely out of the city, almost like a little getaway on the weekends if you work in the city; lots of high quality bars and restaurants, excellent public transport access, a variety of supermarkets, all is very new.
Cons: there aren't really many cons - except you're not directly in Manhattan :)
The building is in an excellent area. Right on the water, easy walk to multiple bars and restaurants. It is also a five minute walk to the 7 subway line.
The neighborhood has a very "community" feel vs. Manhattan. More families, space, parks, and better views. Less great restaurants although that's changing and there are some wonderful ones such as Mu Ramen and Case Enrique.
Interesting neighborhood - lots of new construction and new bars and restaurants spring up all the time. Could use more food shopping options and a drug store though.

Transport links are second to none, you can be in Midtown in less than 10 minutes and it's easy to get to just about every part of Manhattan.
It's close to everything! There is always something to do.
Neighborhood is very nice and filled with young people and young families and dogs. There are a lot of restaurants.
Pros: Area is safe, beautiful river views of the Manhattan skyline, fresh air, parks, great neighborhood restaurants/bars, gyms nearby
Cons: Grocery stores aren't great so I tend to shop in the city
